Council of RepresentativesThe highest decision-making power of Satakunta Cooperative Society is exercised by the Council of Representatives, which decides on the approval of the income statement, the balance sheet, the consolidated income statement and the consolidated balance sheet, on the measures needed due to the possible surplus or loss in the approved balance sheet or consolidated balance sheet, and on the election of the members of the Supervisory Board and auditors. The Council of Representatives of Satakunta Cooperative Society is elected for four years at a time. Supervisory BoardThe Supervisory Board is responsible for overseeing the administration and operations of the cooperative managed by the Executive Board and the CEO, approving the cooperative's key strategies and overall financial objectives, and appointing the CEO and electing the members of the cooperative's Board of Directors. The Supervisory Board has 18 members, 16 of whom are elected by the Council of Representatives and two by the staff. Executive BoardThe Supervisory Board appoints the Executive Board of Satakunta Cooperative Society annually. The Board is responsible for the cooperative's operations and has four members in addition to the CEO. The Executive Board takes care of the administration of the cooperative and the proper organisation of its operations in accordance with the law and the bylaws of the cooperative. The Executive Board decides on the cooperative's strategies and overall objectives, as well as the annual financial targets and action plans, prepares the financial statements and consolidated financial statements, and makes proposals on the measures that are required due to the financial year's result. The Chairperson and Vice Chair of the Supervisory Board also participate in the meetings of the Executive Board.
